National Services


TNF - The Talking News Federation is made up of 400 local Talking Newspapers (TN) forming a body to take a long term view of the future, assist with present issues, and deal with issues such as Copyright, Articles for the Blind, and proposed items of legislation and consultation. The TNF Executive Committee consists of a small number of local TN volunteers from across the United Kingdom.To find out more click the TNF button.

  • Cue and Review A Scottish-based charity which provides recorded magazines on cassette tape for young visually impaired people throughout the U.K.
  • Soundaround The National Sound Magazine for the Blind. A monthly 90 minute tape, designed in a 'radio programme' style.
  • Calibre A free recorded books service.
  • COTIS Confederation Of Tape Information Services - a self-help group for any organisation producing items on tape.

Swindon Area Services
